Space Missile Grid is a high-stakes coordinate plane challenge! Choose between Quadrant I or All 4 Quadrants mode. Your mission: input coordinates to beam "Red Masses" to safety while fending off enemies trying to drag them into the sun. Play for free online at MathNook—no sign-up required!

How To Play

The Mission: Rescue all Red Masses to complete the level.
Coordinate Rescue: Enter the X and Y coordinates of a Red Mass, then press TRACTOR. If correct, the beam will slowly pull the mass to the safety zone at the bottom.
Defend Your Cargo: Use missiles to destroy mines and alien ships. Hover over the FIRE button and move your mouse toward enemies to direct your fire.
The Hazard: Prevent aliens from dragging your masses into the sun (located on the left side of the screen).

Pro Tip: You can only pull one Red Mass at a time, but you can multitask! While the tractor beam is active, adjust the X and Y coordinates for your next target. Once the current mass reaches safety, you can instantly engage the beam for the next one.

Objects and Enemies

Red Mass Your rescue priority. Save these using the tractor beam. Don't let them hit mines or reach the sun.

Static Orb A cosmic shield that absorbs your missiles, blocking them from passing through to enemies.

Yellow Spike A stationary mine. Contact with this orb immediately destroys the Red Mass.

Yellow Red Spike A dangerous homing mine that actively drifts toward the nearest Red Mass.

Regular Saucer A slow-moving enemy that attempts to kidnap Red Masses and fly them into the sun.

Fast Mover High-speed invaders that focus on dragging Red Masses to destruction quickly.

Double Threat A heavy-duty ship. When shot, the main module is destroyed but the Command Module survives to continue the attack.

Command Module The remaining piece of the Double Threat. It will continue the mission to drag Red Masses into the sun.

Carrier Ship Enters the screen with a Red Mass already in its possession. Intercept it immediately!
